ATTENTION

If you are the second student making an appointment for the same tutor and time, you are limited to the same course as the first student.

 

Please note, if you are the second student registered for an appointment and have scheduled the appointment for the incorrect course, your appointment will be cancelled and you will be asked to reschedule.


Welcome!!  In order to make a tutoring appointment, you must register an online account with SACC using your Baruch user name and your network password (the same information you would use to log into any computer on campus or access the WiFi). Please note that these login credentials are controlled by BCTC, and that SACC is unable to access or modify your username or password. Please visit Baruch’s MyPassword (link) portal for instructions on how to reset Baruch usernames and password or call 646-312-1010.  Once you sign into the tutoring schedule, use the following steps to make an appointment.

  1. Locate a tutor for the class you are enrolled in from the leftmost column. Tutors will have the name of the course they are assigned to teach listed before their names. For example, if you are in MTH 2003 you can book an appointment with a tutor listed as "MTH 2003 - John D."
  2. Select a time for your appointment by clicking on the corresponding rectangle. Please refer to the following color options for the rectangle when making your appointment: 
    • Dark Blue = the tutor is not scheduled to work at this time
    • Blue = the tutor is booked at this time
    • White = the tutor is available at this time
  3. Click on the white rectangle that corresponds to your desired time, complete the appointment form as indicated, and click on "Save Appointment."

Once your appointment is saved, the color of the rectangle will change to orange and you will receive a reminder email if you schedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to the session. There is a 10-minute grace period for every appointment. After ten minutes, SACC reserves the right to cancel your appointment. Please be advised that you must cancel your appointment at least three (3) hours in advanced if you are unable to attend. Failure to do so will result in a "No Show" penalty on your account. Your account will be disabled for every three "No Show" penalties that you accrue within the semester, and you will have to come into the office and speak with an administrator to have it reinstated.
